A24 Has Acquired the Australian Horror Film "Talk to Me" in the US

A24 has acquired the U.S. distribution rights to “Talk to Me,” an Australian horror film directed by Danny Philippou and Michael Philippou, also known as RackaRacka. The film premiered at the 2023 Sundance Film Festival and holds a 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

The film follows Mia (Sophie Wilde), a teenager searching for a distraction on the anniversary of her mother’s death, She wants to join the local party trend of conjuring spirits. Her circle of friends gathers for another unruly séance with the mysterious embalmed hand that offers a direct line to the spirits, unaware of the consequences of prolonged contact. Mia attempts to undo the horrific damage before it’s too late as the world collapses and disturbing supernatural visions haunt her.
