Amandla Stenberg’s breakthrough role came in the 2012 film adaption of The Hunger Games, in which she played Rue. Since then, Stenberg has been in other films, including the romantic film Everything, Everything, and The Hate U Give. Amandla Stenberg recently starred as Alana Beck in Stephen Chbosky’s film adaptation of Dear Evan Hansen, in which she collaborated with the creators of the original Broadway production, Pasek and Paul, to write an original new song for her character.

The Acolyte’s plot is unknown, many people believe she will be a Sith apprentice or an Acolyte. If this is accurate, “Aura” may be a very complex and dynamic figure. It’s a chance to observe The Dark Side in a new light, as it infiltrates the rest of the galaxy toward the conclusion of the affluent High Republic era.

Amandla Stenberg could be a fascinating actress to play the lead in The Acolyte, which is intended to study the emergence of The Dark Side.
