With less than a month until the “American Horror Story” spinoff, American Horror Stories began airing on FX on Hulu, franchise co-creator Ryan Murphy has already introduced Nico Greetham (Power Rangers Ninja Steel), Kevin McHale (Glee), Dyllon Burnside (Pose), and Charles Melton (Riverdale) as the AH Stories “Fantastic Four.” Following that, a teaser that gave off a lot of Supreme vibes offered fans a glimpse at the atmosphere of the single-episode anthology series. Now, we get a peek at the official poster (first of several?) for American Horror Stories, in which horror returns to its roots—and horror looks all too familiar. Nonetheless.

AHS star Denis O’Hare spoke with Digital Spy as part of its “Rainbow Crew” ongoing interview series celebrating the best LGBTQ+ representation on screen, revealing that the one character they “had the most difficult time shaking was Liz Taylor,” but that they would never revisit “because she was a complete story.” So who would O’Hare like to see again, and what can they tell us about the tenth season (like who they had a scene with and how many episodes they’re in)? Here’s what O’Hare had to say about it…

“He is quite unusual,” says O’Hare of his “AHS” Season 10 character. Because I arrived late, he isn’t the major motivator of action. And he has a comedic relief quality about him, which I enjoy. I believe he’s rather amusing. I have some fantastic outfits. I have some fantastic outfits. “I’m definitely looking forward to that,” O’Hare said. “I was filming a scene with Evan Peters, and I had a couple of very good lines. It’s a lot of fun to see him laughing up during the shoot. And I said to myself, “I adore that.” I ended up completing four episodes, and the writing seemed to develop a little while I was shooting. I’m not sure whether they were suddenly thinking of me, but I’m really enjoying the writing I’ve been doing recently.

O’Hare Would Revisit the Season 1 and Season 3 Characters from “AHS”: “Yeah. I felt that Spalding was never really explored, despite the fact that he had a lot going on. I had the impression that Larry from season one had been imprisoned for a crime he didn’t commit – and then what? Is he going to be able to leave? Is he putting on a show while incarcerated? Will he ever see his sweetheart again? What? So I thought that was a bit of a cliffhanger for him.”

The American Horror Story cast reveal video below, set to Orville Peck’s Dead of Night, announced that Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Kathy Bates, Leslie Grossman, Billie Lourd, Billy Porter, Lily Rabe, Angelica Ross, Finn Wittrock, Frances Conroy, and Denis O’Hare will return. Macaulay Culkin, Spencer Novich, and Ryan Gosling, all of whom appeared in the film Home Alone, were also in attendance. The mini-seasons “Sand/Sea” for American Horror Story: Double Include will feature Kiera Armstrong, Pierce Cady, V Nixie, Kaia Gerber, and many more.
