Kurt Warner’s remarkable route to the NFL will be depicted on the big screen this Christmas season in the film “American Underdog,” which will be released on December 10. It’s a documentary on his journey from working at a grocery store to winning a Super Bowl with the Los Angeles Rams. Watch it below

Zachary Levi will portray Warner, and Dennis Quaid will play coach Dick Vermeil. Lionsgate released an exclusive first look at the film, along with incredible behind-the-scenes videos and interviews with Warner, Levi, and others. Check out the first look above.

Warner headed the St. Louis Rams to a Super Bowl triumph in 2000, winning the league MVP award and piloting the “Greatest Show On Turf” offensive. He had been in the Arena League the previous year.

He won the NFL MVP award again two years later and went on to participate in two more Super Bowls, one with the Rams and the other with the Arizona Cardinals.
