Andrew Garfield Told He Has “No Plans” To Play Spider-man in the future. Andrew already denied his involvement in Spider-Man: No Way Home before the release. Speaking to Variety at the 2022 SAG Awards, Garfield says he has “no plans” to play Spider-Man again, but jokes that “everyone’s going to call me a liar for the rest of my life. I am the boy who cried wolf now.”
From Garfield’s words, it’s clear that he is aware of fans’ suspicions towards his upcoming projects with Marvel. With his continuous denying his involvement in Spider-Man: No Way Home, Garfield proved that he is one of Marvel’s secret keepers and he deserves The Amazing Spider-man 3. Sony is also eyeing Andrew Garfield to bring is Spidey back to the Sony Pictures Universe of Marvel Characters (SPUMC).
In a recent interview with Comicbook.com, Tom Holland said wants to see The Amazing Spider-Man 3 with Andrew Garfield as much as the rest of us.
“I would love to see The Amazing Spider-Man 3,” Tom added “I think what was so wonderful was how Andrew was able to kind of make amends with the character and the studio, to kind of win the general public back.”
He added: “That scene where he saved Zendaya, the fan reactions in the theatre were so spectacular. So, should Sony decide to do that, they would have my full support. And obviously so would Andrew.”
