Andrew Garfield will be taking a break from acting, throughout the year so far Andrew did “The Eyes of Tammy Faye” and “Tick, Tick … Boom!”, which got an extreme success. Garfield recently starred in “Under the Banner of Heaven,” FX’s limited series adaptation of Jon Krakauer’s 2003 true-crime book of the same name. Speaking to Variety, Garfield told that he’s going to take a break and think about what should do next.
he told “I need to recalibrate and reconsider what I want to do next and who I want to be and just be a bit of a person for a while. Because as you know, that is a washing machine, that awards season.” Not that he’s complaining about the recognition: “I need to just be a bit ordinary for a while.”
In 2021, Garfield appeared in Spider-Man: No Way Home as Peter Parker alongside Tom Holland and Tobey Maguire. the film grossed over $1.8 billion worldwide and became the highest-grossing film of 2021, the sixth-highest-grossing film of all time. There is still talk that Garfield could get a sequel The Amazing Spider-Man 3.
