Anthony Ramos (In the Heights) has joined in a secret role at Marvel’s Ironheart series for Disney. Ironheart will follow Dominique Thorne as Riri Williams, a genius inventor, and creator of the most advanced suit of armor since Iron Man. Ramos is expected to have a major role in the MCU going forward.
The series was announced during Disney’s investor-day presentation in December 2020. Chinaka Hodge will be the head writer on the series. The first season will consist of six episodes.
Anthony Ramos is best known for his roles in Hamilton (2020), Summertime (2018), In The Heights (2021), and A Star Is Born (2018). he will also star in the upcoming Transformers: Rise of the Beasts, which is slated for June 9, 2023.

Williams was first introduced in the Marvel comics in 2016, the creation of writer Brian Michael Bendis and artist Mike Deodato. Inspired by Tony Stark and determined to follow in his heroic footsteps, fifteen-year-old super genius Riri Williams built her own suit of advanced armor and now leads a life of adventure, crime-fighting, and humanitarianism as the Super Hero known as Ironheart. Riri’s armor allows her to fly, possess superhuman strength, magnetic powers, and even the ability to contain opponents inside an energy bubble. She can also fire energy blasts from her gloves.
While a premiere date for the series is still TBD. the insiders said Williams is expected to make her debut in the MCU in the upcoming Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, which bows in November.
