A new clip from Babylon featuring Diego Calva and Tobey Maguire has been revealed. The clip is titled “Stripper Nuns,” in which Tobey Maguire who plays the role of James McKay tells Diego Calva’s Manny Torres that he has some movie ideas “Stripper Nuns.” Watch the clip below.
Babylon is coming to theaters on December 23, 2022, from Paramount Pictures. The film is written and directed by Damien Chazelle. Babylon follows the rise and fall of multiple characters during Hollywood’s transition from silent to sound films in the late 1920s.
According to the official plot from Paramount, “From Damien Chazelle, Babylon is an original epic set in 1920s Los Angeles led by Brad Pitt, Margot Robbie, and Diego Calva, with an ensemble cast including Jovan Adepo, Li Jun Li and Jean Smart. A tale of outsized ambition and outrageous excess, it traces the rise and fall of multiple characters during an era of unbridled decadence and depravity in early Hollywood.”
The film stars Brad Pitt as Jack Conrad, Margot Robbie as Nellie LaRoy, Diego Calva as Manny Torres, Jean Smart as Elinor St. John, Jovan Adepo as Sidney Palmer, Li Jun Li as Lady Fay Zhu, Tobey Maguire as James McKay, Lukas Haas as George Munn, Max Minghella as Irving Thalberg, Samara Weaving as Colleen Moore, Olivia Wilde as Ina Conrad, Katherine Waterston as Estelle, and Flea as Bob Levine.
‘Babylon’ runtime is reportedly 188 minutes, or 3 hours and 8 minutes, which is also one of the longest movies of the year alongside the December release, Avatar: The Way of Water. Babylon will hit theaters on December 23, 2022.
