The mafia conflicts and the invasion of legendary villains are significant topics in Gotham City headlines, thus Batman’s absence is noticeable. In Batman: The Long Halloween, Part Two, District Attorney Harvey Dent (Josh Duhamel) and Police Commissioner James Gordon (Billy Burke) lament the loss of a colleague, hoping that the batsignal would ultimately draw his notice.
As Batman: The Long Halloween, Part Two begins, Poison Ivy assumes leadership of Gotham City’s criminal forces – and Bruce Wayne’s psyche. Poison Ivy is played by Katee Sackhoff (The Mandalorian, Battlestar Galactica).
“Batman: The Long Halloween, Part Two” might be dubbed “Rise of the Villains,” given the competition includes most of Gotham City’s Rogue Galleries, including the Mad Hatter and Scarecrow. Mad Hatter and Scarecrow receive votes from dubbing legends John DiMaggio (Futurama, Batman: Under the Red Hood) and Robin Atkin Downes (The Strain, Constantine: City of Demons).
In “Batman: The Long Halloween, Part Two,” Carmine “The Roman” Falcone’s daughter Sofia joins the Falcone family at the dinner table. Sofia is voiced by Laila Berzins (Genshin Impact), and Carmine is voiced by Titus Welliver (Bosch).
Batman: The Long Halloween, Part Two continues with the Holiday Killer still on the loose, Bruce Wayne under the influence of Poison Ivy, and Batman unable to be found. is inspired on the classic DC storey from the mid-90s by Jeph Loeb and Tim Sale. With the help of an unlikely ally, Bruce finds the actual perpetrator: Carmine Falcone, Poison Ivy’s boss. A Roman forced to seek less acceptable partners – the Gotham City rogue gallery – when his ranks were slaughtered by Holiday and his enterprise spiralled out of control. Meanwhile, Harvey Dent is fighting two wars: he is trying to put a stop to a mob conflict while also coping with a stressful marriage. After an incident that leaves Harvey terribly scarred, the district attorney is forced to confront his psyche’s duality, which he had sought to deny his whole life. Dent resolves to take the law into his own hands as Two-Face and punish those who have wronged him, his family, and the whole city of Gotham. In the end, the Dark Knight must bring together the tragic ingredients that gave birth to Two-Face, the Holiday Killer, Batman, and Gotham City.
