It’s been a long wait, my friends, but we can finally say that Black Widow tickets are now on sale! And to celebrate, we have some goodies. First, Fandango debuts this brand new scene from the film, in theaters on July 9.

Marvel fans have been waiting over two years for the return of their favorite film series to the big screen, and it will finally happen in just a few weeks. On July 9th, Black Widow, which was meant to be released last spring, will finally be released in cinemas and on Disney+ Premier Access, completing a two-year wait that began with Spider-Man: Far From Home in 2019. Marvel and Disney announced on Friday that tickets are now on sale, as well as pre-orders for Premier Access on Disney+.

This news was confirmed by a small trailer for Black Widow, which depicts Natasha fighting toe-to-toe with Taskmaster. You can see the teaser above, and you can get tickets for the opening weekend right here. The unique clip was released by Fandango, where tickets are currently on sale. Between Captain America: Civil War and Avengers: Infinity War, several of the Avengers were forced to flee after breaking the Sokovia Accords, and Black Widow is set at that time. Natasha visits her relatives in Russia after a long absence. Scarlet Johansson reprises her role as Black Widow, while Rachel Weisz, Florence Pugh, and David Harbour also enter the MCU as characters with important links to Natasha and her history. This will be her seventh appearance in the MCU as the character (eighth if you count the Captain Marvel post-credits scene).

While fans have waited years for a standalone Black Widow film, it appears that this will be Johansson’s final performance as Natasha. Many assume that the Black Widow torch will be handed on to Pugh’s Yelena in this next film after the character was killed in Avengers: Endgame. The possibility of Johansson’s Marvel employment coming to an end has left her with mixed emotions.

Johansson told Total Film in a recent interview, “It’s absolutely sad since I adore my Marvel family.” “I’ll never be ready to be a part of it if I’m not in it.” They’re going to be family forever. I’ll never be ready to go since I hate missing out on things with them. Who knows, right? Perhaps at some time in the future, we’ll be able to interact in a different way.”

On July 9th, Black Widow will be released in cinemas and will be available on Disney+ Premier Access.
