Scarlett Johansson starring Black Widow one of the most anticipated film, which was originally slated to be released on May 1, 2020, has finally been launched on large and small theatres, as well as streaming on Disney+ Premier Access.

Before July 9 release, Black Widow broke the record for Fandango’s pre-sale tickets for the year 2021. On Thursday night, the first MCU picture of the year grossed $13.2 million at preview screenings on July 8. This is the highest total so far in 2021, surpassing F9’s $7 million preview haul. Black Widow grossed $215 million globally at the box office and through Disney+’s $30 Premier Access, according to a statement today from the Walt Disney. The Scarlett Johansson-led picture grossed $80 million domestically and $20 million via Premiere Access in the United States and Canada. Internationally, Marvel Studios’ newest film grossed $78 million at the box office, with more than $60 million coming through Disney+ Premier Access.

This is the biggest opening weekend since Star Wars Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker in 2019, and Black Widow grossed $10 million more than the previous 2021 box office leader, F9.
