Iman Vellani will next join Marvel Studios’ Captain Marvel 2, directed by Nia DaCosta. Brie Larson returns as Carol Danvers, joining Monica Rambeau played by WandaVision’s Teyonah Parris. Vellani when speaking to the podcast, she told “Brie actually reached out to me like a week after I got the part. We just talked on the video chat for hours, sharing stories. I was listening to her give me really great advice on how to take care of yourself because you can get lost in this world and everything can get super overwhelming and it’s a lot of emotions and new experiences.
The Marvels will hit theaters on July 28, 2023, as part of Phase Four of the MCU.
