A Hollywood film is finally being made out of the tale that altered the industry forever, almost four years after writers Megan Twohey and Jodi Kantor published the stunning New York Times investigation exposing Harvey Weinstein as a serial sexual abuser. “She Said,” a new drama picture being put up at Universal Pictures and based on the New York Times bestseller, “She Said: Breaking the Sexual Harassment Story That Helped Ignite a Movement,”. Annapurna Pictures and Plan B Entertainment optioned the novel “She Said” for the first time in 2018 as part of their co-production deal. Megan Ellison, an Oscar nominee from Annapurna Pictures, will executive produce the picture alongside Sue Naegle. Meanwhile, Plan B will be produced by Brad Pitt, Dede Gardner, and Jeremy Kleiner (Best Picture Oscar winners for “12 Years a Slave”).
She Said will be released in theaters on Nov. 18, 2022
