After a few delays, Elizabeth Tulloch reports that Superman and Lois have officially finished production on its first season, along with some behind-the-scenes photographs.

Like many other projects, Superman and Lois have had to cope with the COVID epidemic. Several times throughout season one, filming on the new CW series was stopped. As a result, the series has gone on hiatus a few times, with the most recent break ending on July 13th.

Elizabeth Tulloch announced on Twitter that Superman and Lois had wrapped production on the first season of the show in Vancouver. The season finale will be directed by Tom Cavanagh, who previously directed The Flash.

Tyler Hoechlin and Elizabeth Tulloch star as Superman and Lois Lane, the world’s most famous superhero and the most famous journalist in comic books, as they return to Smallville to face their greatest challenge yet: dealing with all the stress, pressures, and complexities that come with being a working parent in today’s society.

The series also stars Jordan Elsass and Alexander Garfin as the sons of the eponymous protagonists, Dylan Walsh as General Sam Lane, Emmanuelle Chriqui as Lana Lang, and Erik Valdez as Kyle Cushing, in addition to Tyler Hoechlin as Clark Kent and Elizabeth Tulloch as Lois Lane. The series will be executive produced by Todd Helbing, Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter, and Geoff Johns, and written by Todd Helbing of The Flash.

On Tuesday, July 13th, Superman and Lois will return.
