During Disney’s D23 Expo, the official announcement was made by Marvel boss Kevin Feige about the return of Danny Ramirez in Captain America: New World Order. Julius Onah will be directing the film from a screenplay written by Malcolm Spellman and Dalan Musson. The film also stars Carl Lumbly as Isaiah Bradley, Tim Blake Nelson as Samuel Sterns/Leader, and Shira Haas as Ruth Bat-Seraph/Sabra.

In Captain America: New World Order, Sam Wilson will wield the Vibranium shield against Tim Blake Nelson’s The Leader. “He was great. I can’t tell you where it’s gonna go, but obviously, he’s not in there for no reason,” Falcon and Winter Soldier creator Malcolm Spellman previously told Entertainment Tonight when asked about the new Falcon. “He just lights up. If we had had 10 episodes, we had a giant storyline for him built out. But he does have plenty of real estate in these six.”

Danny Ramirez is best known for roles in No Exit, Top Gun: Maverick, Stars at Noon, and Look Both Ways.
