Ryan Reynolds is already working on a sequel for Deadpool 3 with the writers, and Marvel Studios have a release date in mind for the sequel. Following Disney’s acquisition of 20th Century Fox, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige stated that Reynolds will return for a third Deadpool film. The issue is that the development process has been sluggish, and the release date for the sequel is still unknown.
Kevin Feige shared an update on the development of Deadpool 3 in a recent interview. He didn’t say when the film will be released, but he did disclose that Marvel Studios had a preliminary release date on the table behind the scenes. Ryan Reynolds is now discussing with the screenwriters on the screenplay, according to Feige, which appears to be another positive indication for Deadpool 3‘s future.
When asked if Marvel had a release date set in stone, Feige said, “We do.” “I’m working on a script right now. And Ryan is currently hard at work with our authors on it.”
Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick wrote the first two Deadpool films, however, they have since left the project once it was acquired by Disney. Wendy Molyneaux and Lizzie Molyneaux-Loeglin, writers for Bob’s Burgers, have signed on to create the script for Deadpool 3. Reynolds has also contributed to the story by working closely with the screenwriters on the script, as noted by Feige.
Reynolds earlier confirmed.” “Writing is similar in that you have to set aside time to do it and then walk away from it, and I’m working on it with the Molyneuxs, which has been fantastic. They’re highly skilled and extremely intelligent. It’s been a lot of fun because they understand that culture and know-how to zig when everyone expects a zag.”
Despite the fact that the film has been sold to Disney, Kevin Feige has already stated that Deadpool 3 would maintain the R-rating that the original two films had. The movie will start production at end of 2022.
