Disney unveiled the first trailer for The Santa Clauses. Tim Allen reprising the role as Scott Calvin / Santa Claus, alongside Elizabeth Mitchell and David Krumholtz. Watch the trailer below.
The Santa Clauses Plot Details
The upcoming Disney+ series is based on The Santa Clause film series. According to Disney’s synopsis revealed at the D23 expo. Scott Calvin is on the brink of his 65th birthday and realizing that he can’t be Santa forever. He’s starting to lose a step in his Santa duties, and more importantly, he’s got a family who could benefit from a life in the normal world, especially two sons, one that grew up in Lakeside, Illinois (Charlie) and one that grew up at the Pole (Buddy). With a lot of elves, children, and family to please, Scott sets out to find a suitable replacement Santa while preparing his family for a new adventure in life south of the pole.

The series is a continuation of Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause (2006). Jack Burditt will serve as showrunner and executive producer. Jason Winer will be directing. “Dropped the first teaser for the new Santa series here at a big event in Anaheim near Disney,” Allen tweeted. “Got up on stage and surprised the crowd with it.”
The series stars Tim Allen as Scott Calvin / Santa Claus, Elizabeth Mitchell as Carol Calvin / Mrs. Claus, Kal Penn as Simon Choksi. Eric Lloyd as Charlie Calvin, Austin Kane as Buddy, Elizabeth Allen-Dick as Sandra Calvin-Claus, Matilda Lawler as Betty, Rupali Redd as Grace Choksi, Devin Bright as Noel, David Krumholtz as Bernard, and Laura San Giacomo as Befana the Christmas Witch.
The Santa Clauses Release Date On Disney+?
The Santa Clauses will premiere on November 16, 2022, on Disney+.
