Rumors regarding Sam Raimi’s next “multiverse of madness” film continue to hint at a special appearance by a character that featured in the 20th Century Fox X-Men flicks.
During Doctor Strange 2: In The Multiverse of Madness, it was rumored that the Scarlet Witch, also known as Wanda in the Marvel Studios world, would fight a character from one of Fox’s films.
Despite previously stating that he had resigned from his part in Logan, a reporter for The Hollywood Reporter called Kris Tapley hinted that actor Patrick Stewart may reprise his role in the legendary character.
Another theory circulating on Twitter is that Wanda will be the adversary in Sam Raimi’s film, and that part of the plot would entail constructing a multiverse-based version of the Illuminati. Obviously, the animated series What If built some of those roots.
The role might return will be a question. Wolverine, Charles Xavier, Captain Carter, Balder el Bravo, Monica Rambeau, and Mordo are the characters on the list.
In the comics, the Illuminati is a secret society that began as a meta-human government but has since evolved into a secret society that has secret meetings to trade information amongst the many components of the planet in order to avoid future dangers such as the Skrulls. Mutants, Atlanteans, and Inhumans were among them.
Iron Man, Captain America, Charles Xavier, Doctor Strange, Namor, Reed Richards, Black Bolt, and Black Panther were the first to be summoned, but the latter flatly refuses to take part.
