‘Don’t Worry Darling’ Opening Weekend Debuts With No.1 at the Domestic Box Office

Don’t Worry Darling’ officially debuts at No.1 at the US domestic box office with an opening weekend of $19.2M and with $30M Worldwide. The film becomes Florence Pugh’s first No.1 film at the box office in a leading role and marks the 3rd film Harry Styles acting debut which hit No.1 at the box office, joining Dunkirk and Eternals.

Directed by Olivia Wilde, after her directorial debut Booksmart (2019). The film stars Florence Pugh, Harry Styles, Wilde, Gemma Chan, KiKi Layne, Nick Kroll, and Chris Pine.

‘Don’t Worry Darling’ plot follows, “In the 1950s, Alice and Jack live in the idealized community of Victory, an experimental company town that houses the men who work on a top-secret project. While the husbands toil away, the wives get to enjoy the beauty, luxury, and debauchery of their seemingly perfect paradise. However, when cracks in her idyllic life begin to appear, exposing flashes of something sinister lurking below the surface, Alice can’t help but question exactly what she’s doing in Victory.”

‘The Women King’ made $11.14M in its second week at the domestic box office, declining only 40% from its opening weekend. To date, it has grossed $36.2 million in North America.
