Dustin Poirier’s trilogy war with Conor McGregor is ‘off,’ according to McGregor.

“The fight is off btw [by the way]. I’m going to fight someone else on the 10th,” McGregor tweeted on Monday.

The fight in Abu Dhabi was notable for its cordial build-up, during which McGregor was much less combative than he had been in the lead-up to previous high-profile bouts. After winning the first meeting in September 2014, the former two-weight world champion came out of retirement to face Poirier again after not winning a UFC fight since January 2020.
