Dwayne Johnson (The Rock) made a powerful San Diego Comic-Con International entrance in the Black Adam costume. check out the image below.
During the SDCC panel Dwayne Johnson told “Our mission is to expand the DC Universe through the debut of the Justice Society of America” he added It’s been a long journey, one filled with passion and grit,” says The Rock. “It’s been an incredible one but, as many of you guys know, I love Comic Con, and being here representing Black Adam is a dream come true.”
Jaume Collet-Serra likens BlackAdam to “a Dirty Harry-like character” because of how much he operates in the gray area “breaking down the establishment.”
Noah Centineo says that Atom Smasher is a young kid who wants to prove himself and find his way through life. He says the movie has two meta-humans that’s trying to find out what it’s like to be a superhero.
Directed by Jaume Collet-Serra from a screenplay by Adam Sztykiel, Rory Haines, and Sohrab Noshirvani, the film will star Dwayne Johnson as Teth Adam / Black Adam alongside Aldis Hodge as Carter Hall / Hawkman, Noah Centineo as Albert Rothstein / Atom Smasher, Sarah Shahi as Professor Adrianna Tomaz, Marwan Kenzari as Ishmael, Quintessa Swindell as Maxine Hunkel / Cyclone, Bodhi Sabongui as Amon, with Pierce Brosnan as Kent Nelson / Doctor Fate, and Djimon Hounsou as Shazam. James Cusati-Moyer, Mo Amer, and Uli Latukefu have also been cast in undisclosed roles.
Black Adam will hit theaters on October 21, 2022.
