The first look poster at Elizabeth Banks’ Cocaine Bear has been revealed, The film is inspired by the true story of a bear that ingested a duffel bag full of cocaine in 1985. Check out the image below.
The film stars Keri Russell as Colette Matthews, O’Shea Jackson Jr. as Howard, Ray Liotta as Dentwood, Alden Ehrenreich as Marty, Matthew Rhys, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Kristofer Hivju, Margo Martindale, Christian Convery, Brooklynn Prince, and Scott Seiss.
Cocaine Bear follows an oddball group of cops, criminals, tourists, and teens converging in a Georgia forest where a 500-pound apex predator has ingested a staggering amount of the white powder and goes on a coke-fueled rampage seeking more blow — and blood. (Synopsis Via Deadline)
Directed by Elizabeth Banks from a script written by Jimmy Warden. Banks also produces with Max Handelman for Brownstone Productions, who joined the producing team alongside Lord, Miller, Aditya Sood for Lord Miller Productions, and Brian Duffield.
Cocaine Bear will hit theaters on February 24, 2023, by Universal Pictures.
