For Twitter users, you don’t need to worry. Twitter never quits with Elon Musk. Musk stated that if Apple and Google removed Twitter from their app stores, he could create his own brand of smartphones. which means he could develop his own smartphone if necessary to save Twitter.
On Twitter, Liz Wheeler, who hosts The Liz Wheeler Show, asked Elon Musk that “if Apple and Google boot Twitter from their app stores, @elonmusk should produce his own smartphone.” Half the country would happily ditch the biased, snooping iPhone and Android. “The man builds rockets to Mars; a silly little smartphone should be easy, right?”
Musk replied, “I certainly hope it does not come to that, but, yes, if there is no other choice, I will make an alternative phone.”
Liz also conducted a poll regarding the name of Elon Musk’s phone brand. “Would you switch to a tELONphone? Vote yes or no with your best pun for a name below.”
According to Elon Musk, Twitter users can now get verified with a blue tick by paying $8 per month. Twitter will have 3 different verified checkmarks: Gold — Companies, Grey — Government, and Blue — Individuals (celebrity or not). From next week, Twitter will begin unbanning suspended accounts.
