Since Jamie Foxx and Alfred Molina came on to reprise their roles as Electro and Doctor Octopus from Sony’s previous Spider-Man films, there has been a lot of conjecture about Spider-Man: No Way Home. According to certain reports, Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield will reprise their roles as Peter Parker and Spider-Man. However, both Garfield and Tom Holland, the current Spider-Man, have dismissed the allegations. Many admirers, however, refuse to trust their denials. Another Spider-Man veteran has already spoken out.

Emma Stone was questioned by MTV News if she will resume her role as Gwen Stacy from the Amazing Spider-Man films. Stone’s retort was short and to the point.

Stone stated, “I’ve heard those stories [and] I’m not sure whether I’m required to say anything, but I’m not [involved].” “As an alumnus, I’m not sure how you’re meant to respond.”

It’s also worth noting that Stone was expecting her first child during the filming of No Way Home. That meant she’d only have had a limited amount of time available at best. Furthermore, Gwen in The Amazing Spider-Man 2 was murdered off toward the end of the film. So, if Stone was going to repeat her part, she’d have to play a different version of Gwen. Along with Holland, Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, and Marisa Tomei will feature in No Way Home. For this film, Benedict Cumberbatch will resume his role as Dr. Stephen Strange. The sequel will also include Tony Revolori, Angourie Rice, J. B. Smoove, and Hannibal Buress.
