Euphoria’ has been renewed for Season 3 at HBO. The premium cable outlet has been renewed ‘Euphoria’ for a third season. The eight-episode second season makes a massive increase in viewership and traffic. The show was created by Sam Levinson and starring Emmy winner Zendaya. The series is based on the Israeli series of the same name, created by Leshem and Levin.

Euphoria follows high schooler Rue (Zendaya), who looks for hope while balancing love, loss, and addiction in the town of East Highland. The cast also includes Hunter Schafer, Nika King, Eric Dane, Angus Cloud, Jacob Elordi, Algee Smith, Sydney Sweeney, Alexa Demie, Barbie Ferreira, Maude Apatow, Javon Walton, Dominic Fike, Storm Reid, and Austin Abrams.

With the premiere of Season 2 episodes on Jan. 9. HBO and HBO Max earned 13.1 million total viewers, which was close to increasing by 100% from the 6.6 million average audiences drawn by Season 1’s episodes during its summer 2019 runtime.


The series executive produced by Kevin Turen, Ravi Nandan, Drake, Adel “Future” Nur, Zendaya, Will Greenfield, Ashley Levinson, Ron Leshem, Daphna Levin, and Hadas Mozes Lichtenstein.

The “Euphoria” season 2 finale will be premiere on Feb. 27 on HBO Max.
