Euphoria Series Hair, Makeup, and Costumes designers Kim Kimble, Doniella Davy, and Heidi Bivens revealed how they make viewers feel “seen and heard” on a new The Wrap “How I Did It” video series sponsored by HBO. Check out the footage below.
Donni Davy, department head of makeup said “The feedback that was really life-changing from thousands of people was that they felt seen and heard and excited to use makeup to explore who they are and express who they are.”
“Across all creative departments, the level of artistry on the show is such that every scene matters, even if it’s a tiny flashback,” Davy added.
Euphoria is based on the Israeli miniseries of the same name created by Ron Leshem and Daphna Levin. The plot follows Rue Bennett (Zendaya), a recovering teenage drug addict who struggles to find her place in the world.
Euphoria is now available on HBO and HBO Max.
