Exclusive: Aubrey Plaza is set to star in Marvel/Disney+ Agatha: Coven of Chaos series. Plaza’s role is not yet confirmed in the series. The series will premiere in Winter 2023 as a part of MCU’s phase 5.
During the San Diego Comic-Con 2022, Kevin Feige announced Agatha: Coven of Chaos and the premiere date. The previous title was Agatha: House of Harkness, it has changed to Agatha: Coven of Chaos. The series focuses on the WandaVision character Agatha Harkness, played by Kathryn Hahn. She will reprise her character in Coven of Chaos.
Where Did Agatha: Coven of Chaos Pick Up?
in the finale of WandaVision, Elizabeth Olsen‘s Scarlet Witch absorbs the powers of Agatha Harkness and possesses the Scarlet Witch’s powers. Harkness becomes powerless and she will be defeated, at that time Scarlet Witch will snap her and turn her into Westview’s nosy neighbor.
Agatha: Coven of Chaos also stars Emma Caulfield Ford as Sarah Proctor: a resident of Westview. Following the Westview Anomaly, she became known as Dottie Jones and Joe Locke in an undisclosed role. The show was created by Jac Schaeffer for Disney+.
Aubrey Plaza is best known for her role as April Ludgate on the NBC sitcom Parks and Recreation from 2009–2015. She also starred in the FX drama series Legion (2017–2019). Plaza has produced and starred in the films The Little Hours (2017), Ingrid Goes West (2017), Black Bear (2020), and Emily the Criminal (2022).
Agatha: Coven of Chaos will premiere in Winter 2023 on Disney+.
