Exclusive: Charlize Theron‘s Clea has appeared on Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Clea (Charlize Theron) appears in the mid-post credit scene, when Strange at the Sanctum still getting corrupted by the dark magic, At that time Clea (Charlize Theron) appears and asks for help to save reality from someone very powerful.
Clea will be making a cameo-like Captain Carter, Black Bolt, Supreme Mordo, Professor X, and Photon in a battle with Elizabeth Olsen’s Wanda. Wanda is seen as more powerful than the Illuminati team.
In Marvel Comics, Doctor Clea Strange is a sorceress and the disciple, lover, and eventual wife of Doctor Stephen Strange, and his ultimate successor as Sorcerer Supreme. Clea was born the daughter of Prince Orini, legitimate heir to the rule of the Dark Dimension, and Umar, sister to the then-current ruler Dormammu. However, Umar was disgusted by her affair with Orini, abandoning Clea to be raised by him, and Prince Orini kept secret any knowledge of her true origins.
Dormammu had long sought to conquer Earth and, as a result, often confronted Earth’s defender, Doctor Strange. When Doctor Strange journeyed into the Dark Dimension to continue his battle against Dormammu, he was aided by Clea, and the two quickly fell in love. In subsequent battles, Clea continued to help Doctor Strange, and their infatuation grew.
The film is directed by Sam Raimi and stars Benedict Cumberbatch as Stephen Strange/Doctor Strange, Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch, Chiwetel Ejiofor as Karl Mordo, Benedict Wong as Wong, Xochitl Gomez as America Chavez, with Michael Stuhlbarg as Nicodemus West, and Rachel McAdams as Christine Palmer.
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness will hit theaters on May 6, 2022.
