(Note: This article contains a spoiler alert for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever)
Exclusive: ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever‘ release date is slated for November 11, 2022. The film will conclude with the character Nakia, who was portrayed by Lupita Nyong’o revealing she has a son from former king T’challa.
What Happens to T’challa in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever?
Marvel had done their best to give a tribute to Chadwick Boseman. T’challa will die due to his sickness in the film. Boseman once said, “I want [people] to see the role, and not see me…that is the job of an actor…where it’s not about me. It’s about the role. And people remember the role.” (via YouTube)
According to Marvel, they will not recast T’Challa in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever to honor Chadwick Boseman, but recasting the role would elevate the actor’s legacy.
