Exclusive: ‘Halloween Ends‘ is coming to theaters on October 14, 2022. The new looks at the final installment of the Halloween franchise ‘Halloween Ends‘ has been revealed by Total Film. The film’s ensemble cast includes Jamie Lee Curtis, James Jude Courtney, Andi Matichak, Will Patton, and Kyle Richards. Check out the image below.
Speaking to Total Film, Jamie Lee Curtis told “By the time you meet Laurie Strode, she has gotten help.” Lee Curtis added “Help to process the level of violence that has been perpetrated against her and her family. She’s done the work. And there’s a moment at the beginning of the movie where you actually meet Laurie – I’m not going to say she’s as innocent as she was back when she was a 17-year-old girl – but she has a layer of hope about her. That’s a beautiful place to start a really tragic, incredibly violent ending.”
According to Universal Pictures’ official plot synopsis, Four years after the events of last year’s Halloween Kills, Laurie is living with her granddaughter Allyson and is finishing writing her memoir. Michael Myers hasn’t been seen since his last brutal rampage. Laurie, after allowing the specter of Michael to determine and drive her reality for decades, has decided to liberate herself from fear and rage and embrace life. But when a young man, Corey Cunningham, is accused of killing a boy he was babysitting, it ignites a cascade of violence and terror that will force Laurie to finally confront the evil she can’t control, once and for all.
Directed by David Gordon Green from a script written by Green, Danny McBride, Paul Brad Logan, and Chris Bernier. The film will be produced by Jason Blum by his Blumhouse Productions banner alongside Rough House Productions, Miramax, and Trancas International Pictures.
Halloween Ends will hit theaters on October 14, 2022, and release in Peacock after 60 days of its theatrical run.
