Exclusive: Robert Downey Jr. is set to appear in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Robert Downey Jr’s Tony Stark is the most titular character in the MCU. In Avengers: Endgame Tony sacrifices his life by willingly taking on the full might of the six Infinity Stones and snapping the Mad Titan and all of his minions out of existence.
Marvel has kept Downey’s appearance in secret. Previously it is rumored tom cruise will play the role of Iron Man as Downey’s Variant. According to sources Marvel is close to confirming RDJ’s in Multiverse of Madness. There will be a lot of new characters and cameos will be appearing alongside Benedict Cumberbatch’s Doctor Strange.

Downey’s Iron Man (2008) changed the entire phase of Marvel. The film earned rave reviews and made over $500 million worldwide. afterward, he had a cameo in The Incredible Hulk’s post-credits and he returned for Iron Man 2 (2010) to The Avengers (2012) and made his last appearance in Avengers: Endgame (2019). RDJ is also rumored to be cast in Black Widow (2021), Unfortunately, he is not satisfied with the small screen presence.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is scheduled to hit theaters on May 6, 2022.
