Warner Bros. Pictures revealed the first look at Bong Joon-ho‘s ‘Mickey 17‘ starring Robert Pattinson, Steven Yeun, Toni Collette, Mark Ruffalo, and Naomi Ackie. Watch the teaser below.
The film is an adaptation of the 2022 novel Mickey7 by Edward Ashton. The film is written and directed by Parasite Oscar winner Bong Joon-ho, who also serves as producer along with Dede Gardner, Jeremy Kleiner, and Dooho Choi.

The film stars Robert Pattinson as Mickey Barnes, Naomi Ackie as Nasha, Steven Yeun as Berto, Toni Collette as Gwen, Mark Ruffalo as Hieronymous Marshall, and Holliday Grainger.
The novel Mickey7 was published in February 2022. According to Deadline, The novel is Bong’s past experiences with adaptations, his version might ultimately be different from the novel’s. The plot follows, Mickey7, who is an “Expendable”—a disposable employee on a human expedition sent to colonize the ice world of Niflheim. Whenever there’s a mission that’s too dangerous—even suicidal the crew turns to Mickey. After one iteration dies, a new body is regenerated with most of his memories intact. After six deaths, Mickey7 understands the terms of his deal…and why it was the only colonial position unfilled when he took it.
Mickey 17 will hit theaters on March 29, 2024.
