The new Texas Chainsaw Massacre takes place many years after the events of Hooper’s original sequel, in a world where no one has heard of Leatherface in a long time. The new Texas Chainsaw Massacre will build a fresh battle between the masked murderer and surviving the last girl Sally Hardesty by ignoring the original film’s seven sequels, a formula proven and validated by 2018’s Halloween. Check out new images. Sally is played by Olwen Fouéré (Mandy) in the next sequel, replacing Marilyn Burns. While the new Texas Chainsaw Massacre has a new cast and crew, viewers may be certain that the film will stay true to Hooper’s original plot by sticking to an R-rating and including several grisly murders.
