Everybody is confused about the arrival of ‘Don’t Worry Darling‘ main star Florence Pugh, whether she’ll appear at the 2022 Venice Film Festival or not. During the press conference, Pugh surprisingly attends the premiere of ‘Don’t Worry Darling’ at the 2022 Venice Film Festival. Check out the image below.
Olivia Wilde isn’t commenting on alleged tensions between her and Florence Pugh, the lead of her movie “Don’t Worry Darling.” Praising Pugh as a “force,” the director added: “Florence is a force. We are so grateful she’s able to make it tonight [for the red carpet] despite being in production on ‘Dune.’ I know, as a director, how disruptive it is to lose an actor even for a day, so I’m very grateful to her, and to [‘Dune’ director Denis Villeneuve] for helping us. And we’ll get to celebrate her work tonight. I can’t say how honored I am to have her as our lead. She’s amazing.“
“As for all the endless tabloid gossip and all the noise out there, the Internet feeds itself. I don’t feel the need to contribute; I think it’s sufficiently well-nourished,” said Wilde.
Don’t Worry Darling is the second directional debut of Olivia Wilde. The film follows, Alice (Florence Pugh) and Jack Chambers (Harry Styles) are a young, happy couple in the 1950s, living in the seemingly perfect company town of Victory, California, which has been created and paid for by the mysterious company Jack is working for. Curiosity about the nature of her husband’s work on the secret “Victory Project” begins to consume Alice while cracks begin to form in their utopian life as her investigation of the project raises tensions within the community.
Don’t Worry Darling will hit theaters on September 23, 2022.
