Mad Max prequel Furiosa starring Anya Taylor-Joy and Chris Hemsworth plot synopsis has been revealed. The film is a prequel focused on a younger version of the Imperator Furiosa, who was played by Anya Taylor-Joy. The film is the fifth installment in the Mad Max franchise. Furiosa is directed by George Miller, and he co-wrote the script with Nico Lathouris.
George Millerʼs ‘Furiosa‘ official plot synopsis is described as “A prequel to Fury Road, Furiosa will center on a young Imperator Furiosa prior to her encounter with Max Rockatansky.”
As the world fell, young Furiosa is snatched from the Green Place of Many Mothers and falls into the hands of a great Biker Horde led by the Warlord Dementus. Sweeping through the Wasteland they come across the Citadel presided over by The Immortan Joe. While the two Tyrants war for dominance, Furiosa must survive many trials as she puts together the means to find her way home.
Speaking to EW, Miller told that Furiosa as a “saga” that “happens over many years.” he added “I didn’t set out to make a big, epic movie. It’s a story I wanted to tell, but as it turns out, it’s just got a lot of different scenes,” Miller told reporters who gathered Monday morning. “The one thing I can say about it, Fury Road… within the film, happened over three days and two nights. This is a saga, that happens over many years. So, there’s a lot of different elements to it.”
The film stars Anya Taylor-Joy as Imperator Furiosa, Chris Hemsworth, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Tom Burke, Nathan Jones as Rictus Erectus, and Angus Sampson as The Organic Mechanic.
