Grant Gustin Is Said To Appear In DC’s Flash Movie

Grant Gustin, star of the CW Arrowverse series The Flash, will reportedly appear in DC’s upcoming The Flash film. The long-awaited Barry Allen solo film, directed by Andy Muschietti, is finally moving into high gear after years of development hell. Filming on The Flash has finally begun, with the show adapting the Flashpoint comics storyline and, in the process, shattering the DCEU’s Multiverse.

Sasha Calle will make her DCEU debut as Supergirl, while Kiersey Clemons will reprise her role as Iris West following a brief appearance in Zack Snyder’s Justice League. Gustin’s debut alongside Miller isn’t uncommon; the two had already shared screen time on The CW when Miller’s version of Barry Allen appeared during the Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover event. Gustin’s inclusion in a key DCEU picture, though, bodes well for the faltering series. After the Snyder Cut, it’s evident that the DCEU is looking to the future, which includes a number of cinematic projects as well as television episodes and movies that will premiere exclusively on HBO Max.
