Universal Pictures released the first look trailer for the upcoming slasher film Halloween Ends. The film is a sequel to Halloween Kills (2021) and the thirteenth installment of the Halloween film franchise. watch the trailer below.

The film is written by David Gordon Green and Danny McBride, and Paul Brad Logan and Chris Bernier, based on characters created by John Carpenter and Debra Hill, the film will be directed by David Gordon Green.

How Halloween Kills Ends?

As Michael prepares to kill Allyson, Karen stabs him in the back with a pitchfork, steals his mask, and taunts him to follow her. She leads Michael into Tommy’s mob, who swarm, attack, and seemingly kill him. When the mob disperses, Michael recovers and massacres the entire mob, including Tommy and Brackett. Back at Michael’s home, Karen goes upstairs to investigate while Allyson receives medical attention. Michael appears and stabs Karen to death in Judith Myers’s old bedroom as Laurie stares out of her hospital room.

When Halloween Kills ended, Laurie was still in the hospital recovering from her latest encounter with him. Karen died while protecting Allyson, and Michael was on the loose once again.

Speaking to THR during the promotion of Halloween Kills, David Gordon Green told “[Halloween Ends is] very different in tone from Halloween [2018] and Halloween Kills, and I think that’s part of my self-indulgence. I very often jump around in genres and explore different themes and characters through movies,” Green said at the time. “I just came up with a new twist ending on the ending that existed a couple of weeks ago, and that’s something that only I hold the piece of paper that has those words on it.”
