Hulu revealed the first trailer for “How I Met Your Father” a spin-off series of “How I Met Your Mother” which is set to premiere on January 18, 2021.
How I Met Your Father follows the story of how Sophie (Duff) met the father of her future child and kicks off in 2022 when she and her close-knit group of friends are in the midst of figuring out who they are, what they want out of life, and how they’ll fall in love in the age of dating apps and limitless options. watch the “How I Met Your Father” trailer below.

The show was created by Isaac Aptaker and Elizabeth Berger (This Is Us), with original How I Met Your Mother creators Carter Bays and Craig Thomas executive producing. The show cast led by Hilary Duff (Lizzie McGuire) as Sophie, Chris Lowell (GLOW) as Jesse, Francia Raisa (Grown-ish) as Valentina, Tom Ainsley (The Royals) as Charlie, Tien Tran (Space Force) as Ellen, and Suraj Sharma (Homeland) as Sid. Josh Peck (Drake & Josh) and Ashley Reyes (American Gods) has also joined as returning characters.
The 10 complete episodes of the season will start streaming on Hulu on Tuesday, January 18, 2022.
