Hugh Jackman is upgrading his body for his return as Wolverine in ‘Deadpool 3‘. On Instagram, Jackman posted a story containing a training image and a quote, “Work In Progress“. On September 2022, Deadpool star Ryan Reynolds shared a video that reveals Hugh Jackman would be reprising his role as Wolverine. The film will hit theaters on September 6, 2024.
Hugh Jackman has a long history in the X-men film franchise. he played for almost 17 years as Howlett / Wolverine in the 20th Century Fox X-Men films, and also earned Guinness World Record for “longest career as a live-action Marvel character”. From 2000’s X-Men to 2017’s Logan such a long run journey for Jackman. For a second everyone thought he was retired from playing Wolverine. Previously there were rumors spread that he is set to appear in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, but they were all false rumors. Now we can see Jackman’s Wolverine return in ‘Deadpool 3’.
‘Deadpool 3’ is directed by Shawn Levy from a screenplay penned by Rhett Reese, Paul Wernick, Lizzie Molyneux-Loeglin, and Wendy Molyneux, with the script being supervised by Ryan Reynolds.
