Industry: Alex Alomar Akpobome

Industry, a Bad Wolf production, provides an outsider’s perspective on the BlackBox of “high finance” through the eyes of Harper Stern (Myha’la Herrold), a bright young lady from upstate New York. The story follows a group of young grads motivated by ambition, youth, romance, and drugs as they begin to build their identities within the pressure cooker setting and sensory bombardment of Pierpoint & Co’s trading floor, where meritocracy is promised but hierarchy reigns supreme.

Danny Van Deventer, a wonder-kid Executive Director who recently arrived in London from Pierpoint New York, will be played by Akpobome. Danny is a head-turning presence on the trading floor and a possible role model for the bank’s younger recruits. He is handsome, loquacious, and engaging. Charles Hanani, a jet-setting playboy trying to reunite with his daughter, Yasmin, will be played by Levy (Marisa Abela).

Lewis played by Venetia Berens, who joins Yasmin’s Foreign Exchange Sales Desk as its newest employee, as seen in Season 1. She presents a strong generational counterbalance to the desk’s old school traditions, being bright-eyed, razor-sharp, and not hesitant to speak back to those in authority.
