Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn revealed that the upcoming The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special will be run as an epilogue of MCU’s Phase 4. The special is a sequel to Thor: Love and Thunder and a prequel to Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.
Writer and director James Gunn recently commented on a Tweet asked by a User “I’m confused, if Guardians of the Galaxy: the Holiday Special is releasing after Black Panther Wakanda Forever which is said to end phase 4, and before Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania which is said to start phase 5, then which phase does it belong in? Phase 4.5?” Gunn replied, “The Guardians Holiday Special is the epilogue of Phase 4.”
“Was this your favorite story to shoot? Or perhaps The Holiday Special?” a fan asked about Vol. 3. “The Holiday Special was pure joy,” Gunn replied. “Vol 3 was very difficult for a billion reasons, beginning with its size and complexity. It might be my favorite movie but it probably wasn’t my favorite shooting experience, other than the love I have for the whole team.” You can check out the post below:
