Happy Death Day producer Jason Blum told that the discussion for Happy Death Day 3 producer is still going on with Christopher Landon. Blum was handling Blumhouse’s production, well known for horror films. Landon directed the first two films in the franchise.

Speaking to Screen Rant, Jason Blum confirmed that he and Landon were discussing Happy Death Day 3. he hinted that there is a lot of interest between the two of them. Read below:

I’m glad you did because guess who I had lunch with yesterday? Mr. Christopher Landon. And guess what we discussed? Happy Death Day 3. We discussed it. I’m not saying we’re doing it, but we discussed it. It was very much on the top of our minds. I’m not saying we’re doing it, but I’m not saying we’re not doing it.

Happy Death Day follows Tree Gelbman, a blissfully self-centered collegian who wakes up on her birthday in the bed of a student named Carter. As the morning goes on, Tree gets the eerie feeling that she’s experienced the events of this day before. When a masked killer suddenly takes her life in a brutal attack, she once again magically wakes up in Carter’s dorm room unharmed. Now, the frightened young woman must relive the same day over and over until she figures out who murdered her.
