Jeremy Irvine – Scott was Earth’s first Green Lantern, and he is a gay guy, as shown in the comics. Martin Nodell developed him, and he first appeared in a comic book in 1940. Scott, a rail engineer by trade, owes his abilities to a supernatural green lantern fashioned from a mystery meteorite. Later, he joined the Justice Society of America, and in his universe-hopping exploits, he would occasionally pair up with Green Lantern Corps members, including Hal Jordan.

Irvine is most known for his role in the USA Network series “Treadstone.” He is most known for his roles in feature films, such as “War Horse,” “The Railway Man,” “Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again,” and “Billionaire Boys Club.” Irvine also starred in Roland Emmerich’s 2015 film “Stonewall,” which tells the story of the 1969 riots in New York City that sparked the LGBTQ rights movement as we know it today.

“Green Lantern” has gotten a 10-episode order from HBO Max. Greg Berlanti, Seth Grahame-Smith, and Marc Guggenheim co-wrote and executive produced the show, which is directed by Grahame-Smith. Elizabeth Hunter and Sara Saedi co-executive produce alongside Geoff Johns, Sarah Schechter, David Madden, and David Katzenberg. In association with Warner Bros. Television, Berlanti Productions will produce.
