Jordan Peele has unveiled the poster for his upcoming picture for Universal Pictures, as well as a release date. Oscar-winner Daniel Kaluuya, Keke Palmer, and Oscar nominee Steven Yeun appear in the film titled “Nope.” On July 22, 2022, Universal Pictures will release the picture.
Peele and Ian Cooper’s Monkeypaw Productions will produce the film in addition to directing and writing it. The project is part of Monkeypaw’s five-year exclusive agreement with Universal. The film reunites Kaluuya and Peele, who worked together on 2017’s Get Out.
Peele’s first two films for Monkeypaw and Universal, Get Out (2017) and Us (2017), both of which he produced, directed, and scripted, were commercial and critical successes, making more than $500 million worldwide. In addition to the film’s box financial triumph, Peele won an Oscar for best original screenplay, and the film was also nominated for best picture.
On part of Universal, Sara Scott, Senior Vice President of Production, and Tony Ducret, Creative Executive, will manage the project.
