It follows an aspiring toy designer whose work visa runs out & a job assisting an erratic art-world outcast becomes his only hope to stay in the country & realize his dream. What Is The Plot Of “Problemista”?
Alejandro (Torres) is an aspiring toy designer from El Salvador, struggling to bring his unusual ideas to life in New York City. As time on his work visa runs out, a job assisting an erratic art-world outcast (Swinton) becomes his only hope to stay in the country and realize his dream.
The film is written and directed by Julio Torres. Starring Julio Torres, Tilda Swinton, RZA, and Isabella Rossellini. Emma Stone, Dave McCary, and Ali Herting are producing.
“Problemista” will premiere at the SXSW 2023.
