A new clip from Netflix’s heist thriller series “Kaleidoscope” has been dropped. The series follows a master thief and his crew attempting an epic and elaborate heist worth $7 billion dollars — but betrayal, greed, and other threats undermine their plans. Watch the clip below.
The series is created by Eric Garcia for Netflix. It stars Giancarlo Esposito, Paz Vega, Rufus Sewell, Tati Gabrielle, Peter Mark Kendall, Rosaline Elbay, Jai Courtney, Niousha Noor, Jordan Mendoza, Soojeong Son, and Hemky Madera.
According to Netflix, the synopsis follows, “A crew of masterful thieves work to unlock a seemingly unbreakable vault for the biggest payday in history. Before they can get their hands on the cash, they must make it through the world’s most powerful corporate security team and the FBI.”
“It’s loosely based on something that might have happened,” Garcia told Tudum. “After Hurricane Sandy, $70 billion worth of bonds got flooded in the basement of the DTCC, which is a large clearing effort that’s owned by a bunch of the big banks.”
“Kaleidoscope” allows audiences to watch episodes in any order & the order they watch the series will affect their viewpoint.
The series will premiere on January 1 on Netflix.
