Palmer quoted that “I’ve been out of town for a while and down from my friend’s house, they put up a NOPE billboard. I was taken to see it up close and personal, it was a surprise to me! We were supposed to be going to Fatburger(which I was actually looking forward to) and instead just went to stare at this. I was clearly not excited 😉
I’m so grateful for this experience, but even more grateful for all the beautiful people that have been apart of it. I know that the people around me actually do mean me well and want to see me thrive. They celebrate me unwarranted and we celebrate one another through everything! That is the most valuable thing I have to date. Life is nothing without people to share it with! I’m so thankful to all the people that burned me, they showed me what I don’t deserve, so I know what I do! So thankful for my loved ones.”
Nope is written and directed by Jordan Peele, the film stars Daniel Kaluuya, Keke Palmer, and Steven Yeun. The plot follows residents of an isolated town who witness a mysterious and abnormal event.
