Kelly Marcel Is Set to Direct 'Venom 3'

Kelly Marcel, who wrote the first two films of ‘Venom‘ is now set to direct ‘Venom 3‘ for Marvel and Sony Pictures. Marcel will be penning the script with Tom Hardy. ‘Venom 3’ will marks her first directional debut.


The plot details are kept under wraps and still no update on the rest of the cast. Hardy will reprise his role as Eddie Brock / Venom, who previously appeared on the post-credits of Spider-Man: No Way Home. Avi Arad, Matt Tolmach, Amy Pascal, and Hutch Parker are producing the film.

‘Venom’ and ‘Venom: Let There Be Carnage’ combined grossed over $1.36 billion worldwide at the box office. The first film was directed by Ruben Fleischer and the second was directed by Andy Serkis. According to Deadline, Some insiders told Hardy, is also working with Marcel to shape the ‘Venom 3’ story.

Back in June, Hardy announced on his IG Post that Marcel and himself combined to work on the ‘Venom 3’ script. No further comments are made.
