Kevin Feige president of Marvel Studios confirmed that Daredevil will once again appear in the MCU. The role will be played by Charlie Cox. In 2015, Cox debuted as the masked vigilante in Netflix’s Daredevil. The actor played the part for three seasons and later starred in The Defenders, a spinoff series. Although being advertised as part of the MCU, Netflix’s Marvel series has never been linked to any of the MCU’s stories.

In a recent interview with Cinemablend, Feige confirmed that the MCU will bring back Cox as Daredevil if the franchise decides to include the character. read his quote below.

If you were to see Daredevil in upcoming things, Charlie Cox, yes, would be the actor playing Daredevil. Where we see that, how we see that, when we see that, remains to be seen.

The timeline for Daredevil’s future, Kevin Feige has kept some cards in secret, but fans of Charlie Cox’s portrayal of the character can rejoice in knowing that he will return to Hell’s Kitchen at some point and patrol the streets on behalf of the neighborhood’s residents. And, given the quantity of series under development, moving Daredevil over makes more sense now than it did when the Netflix show was on its way out.

Cox was is expected to appear in Spider-Man: No Way Home as Peter Parker’s representative after Mysterio revealed his true identity. Daredevil might also appear in She-Hulk, which features Bruce Banner’s cousin Jennifer Walters, who happens to be a lawyer. Since Jeremy Renner’s Disney+ series is highly reported to be introducing Vincent D’Onofrio’s Kingpin, the most recent project Cox may star in is Hawkeye. However, according to Feige’s comment, Cox isn’t currently cast in any MCU movie, therefore Daredevil may not appear in any of these films.

Charlie Cox’s portrayal of Matt Murdock/Daredevil was a huge hit with Marvel fans and a vast improvement from Ben Affleck’s performance as Happy Hogan in a failed Daredevil film starring MCU rock hero Jon Favreau. We’ll see how many Netflix subscribers follow Charlie Cox to the MCU if and when he appears, but it’s happening, according to Kevin Feige, and we’re sure fans will be ecstatic.
