Kevin Feige Final Answer that it hadn’t occurred to him that “[the movie] is any more or less secret than any of [Marvel’s] previous projects,” despite the fact that fans have only been given the official title and a few photos so far.

Tom Holland, Zendaya, Benedict Cumberbatch, Jacob Batalon, and Marisa Tomei are expected to return in the MCU, rumours abound that Jamie Foxx and Alfred Molina will reprise their roles as Electro and Doctor Octopus, sequentially, with ex-Spider-Men Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield also rumoured to appear.

Beyond the title, the most definite look at No Way Home has come in the form of Funko POP! figures, Lego sets, and other toy-related goods. A black and gold Spidey costume, for example, has been seen by eager fans, suggestive of a comic book plot in which Peter Parker loses his web-slinging abilities.

Vulture and Mysterio, who featured in Spider-Man: Homecoming and Spider-Man: Far From Home, respectively, have appeared in certain No Way Home-branded Lego sets, which some fans have taken as hinting the Sinister Six’s possible presence in the upcoming film (if those rumours surrounding Electro and Doctor Octopus also prove accurate).

Despite Feige’s protests against special secrecy treatment for the film, it’s apparent that the third installment in Sony Pictures’ Tom Holland-led Spider-Man trilogy is being kept under wraps unusually tight.

Spider-Man: No Way Home will hit screens on December 17.
